First Baptist Church 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
This community running event in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, features a loop course that passes the First Baptist Church, Patches Family Creamery, and the Iona community. The program includes both a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. If running is not preferred, a 1/2 mile ice cream walk to Patches and back is offered.
Perks for preregistered participants include t-shirts, refreshments, indoor restrooms, parking, a finish-line clock, instant results, and grab bags for all finishers. Results are posted online within one to two days after the event. The event is held rain or shine; there are no refunds and awards are not mailed.
Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 13 and under, 14–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 and over.
Registration details note a guaranteed t-shirt for entries received by October 1. Fee structure listed for the 5K includes free entry with t-shirt for age 12 and under and tiered fees for others; the 1 Mile also has tiered fees with a t-shirt deadline.
