Northants 5K Series - Northampton (Race 5)

This event is the fifth race in the Northants 5K Series. It is a multi-terrain run that goes through parks and woodlands in Northamptonshire. This specific race is held at the historic Delapre Abbey, described as the Home of Northamptonshire Sport.

The event is a 5 km distance. Finishers receive a bespoke medal for this race; a different medal is available for each race in the series. Participants who cannot attend in person can complete the distance virtually and have the medal posted to them, provided they are signed up for the race.

Registration opens at 09:30, and the race starts at 10:30. Race packs and numbers are collected on the day from the event gazebo. The entry fee is £15.00 for UKA-affiliated runners and £17.00 for others, plus a non-refundable booking fee. The minimum age to participate is 11 years old. On race day, 11 and 12-year-olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant.

Free car parking is available at Delapre Abbey. Toilet facilities are located in the courtyard and via The Orangery. A mobile medical crew will be on standby. Participants are advised to bring their own refreshments for the race, though a coffee van and The Orangery will be open before and after the event.
