Race 5 Northants 5K Series 2026
The fifth race in the Northants 5K Series takes place on Sunday 20th September 2026 at Delapre Abbey, London Road, Northampton, NN4 8AW. The course is a multi terrain 5 km route that goes through Northamptonshire parks and woodlands around the historic Delapre Abbey.
Entry fees are listed at £15.00 or £17.00 with an additional non refundable booking fee of £1.50. The lower fee applies to runners affiliated to UKA. The organiser reported nine places remaining.
All finishers receive a bespoke 5K race medal; each race in the series has a different medal to collect. A virtual option is available for those who cannot attend in person, with the medal posted to eligible entrants who are signed up to that race.
Practical information published by the organiser includes free car parking at Delapre Abbey, toilet facilities in the courtyard and via The Orangery, and refreshments available from a Coffee Van and The Orangery before and after the event. Race packs and numbers for the whole series are to be collected on race day at the red Nsport Gazebo. Route maps will be uploaded to the Northamptonshire Sport Event Hub before race day. A mobile medical crew will be on standby during the event.
Minimum age is 11 years; 11 and 12 year olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant. The organiser operates a zero refund policy but allows deferral requests in writing before bookings close. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
