Northants 5K Series - Northampton

The Northants 5K Series - Race 5 takes place at Delapre Abbey, the historic home of Northamptonshire Sport. The course is a 5 km multi-terrain route that incorporates the parks and woodlands of the area. This event is part of a series where participants have the opportunity to collect a different bespoke medal at each race.

The event is open to individuals of various abilities with a minimum age requirement of 11 years. Participants aged 11 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult entrant during the race. Registrations are accepted for both affiliated and non-affiliated runners. For those unable to attend the physical location on the event date, a virtual participation option is available to ensure the series medal set can be completed.

Race numbers are collected on the day of the event at the designated registration area. On-site facilities at Delapre Abbey include toilet access in the courtyard and via the Orangery. Participants are required to provide their own refreshments for the duration of the race, though external vendors such as a coffee van and the Orangery are available for spectators and runners before or after the activity.
