Race 5 Northants 5K Series 2026 - Delapre Abbey
Race 5 of the Northants 5K Series takes place at Delapre Abbey on Sunday 20th September. The event uses multi-terrain routes through Northamptonshire parks and woodlands and is set at the Home of Northamptonshire Sport, Delapre Abbey.
The advertised distance is 5 km. The event is open to people aged 11 years and over; 11 and 12 year olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant. Entries close at 23:59 on Thursday 17th September. Entry fees are listed as £15.00 and £17.00 with a non-refundable booking fee of £1.50; the lower fee applies to runners affiliated to UKA.
Practical arrangements include free car parking at Delapre Abbey and toilet facilities in the courtyard and via The Orangery. Race packs and race numbers for the series are collected on race day at the red Nsport gazebo. Route maps and full race day details will be made available before the event. A mobile medical crew will be on standby during the event.
All finishers receive a bespoke 5K race medal, with a different medal at each race. A virtual completion option is available so participants who cannot attend in person can receive the medal by post if they are signed up to the race.
