Race 5 Northants 5K Series 2026
Race 5 of the Northants 5K Series is scheduled for Sunday 20 September 2026 at Delapre Abbey in Northampton. The event uses multi terrain routes that pass through parks and woodlands in Northamptonshire, with this race based at the Delapre Abbey grounds.
The distance is 5km and all finishers receive a bespoke 5K race medal; each race in the series features a different medal. A virtual option is available so entrants who do not attend in person can complete the race remotely and receive the medal by post, provided they are entered for that race.
Entry fees are shown as £15.00 or £17.00 with a non refundable booking fee of £1.50. The lower entry fee applies to runners affiliated with UKA. Entries close on Thursday 17 September; entries must be made before bookings close to be eligible for deferral options.
Participants must be aged 11 years or over. On race day, 11 and 12 year olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant. Car parking at Delapre Abbey is free. Route maps will be uploaded to the Northamptonshire Sport Event Hub before race day. Race packs and race numbers are collected on race day at the red Nsport Gazebo. A mobile medical crew will be on standby and toilet facilities are available in the courtyard and via The Orangery.
