Race 5 Northants 5K Series 2026
Race 5 of the Northants 5K Series takes place at Delapre Abbey in Northampton on Sunday 20 September. Entries open 16 February.
The event uses multi-terrain routes through parks and woodlands around Delapre Abbey, London Road, Northampton, NN4 8AW.
The distance is 5 km and is open to participants aged 11 years and over. On race day, 11 and 12-year-olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant.
Practical arrangements include free car parking at Delapre and race packs and numbers to be collected on the day from the red Nsport gazebo. Route maps will be uploaded to the Northamptonshire Sport event hub before race day. Full race day details will be emailed to entrants seven days before the event; entrants should check their junk mail and contact the organiser if they do not receive information.
A mobile medical crew will be on standby. Toilets are available in the courtyard and via The Orangery. Participants are asked to provide their own refreshments; a Coffee Van and The Orangery will be open before and after the event for additional refreshments.
Entry fees are shown as £15.00/£17.00 with a non-refundable booking fee of £1.50; the lower fee applies to UKA-affiliated runners. There is a zero refund policy but entries may be deferred to another race if requested before bookings close.
All finishers receive a bespoke 5K race medal unique to each race. A virtual completion option is available so entrants can receive the medal by post if they are signed up to the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
