North Knox Sprint Triathlon
The North Knox Sprint Triathlon takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Tennova Family YMCA, 7540 Dannaher Drive, Knoxville, TN 37849. The event uses the indoor swimming pool for the swim and includes bike and run segments on nearby roads and paths. Distances for the standard sprint are:
- Swim 150 yards
- Bike 9.5 miles
- Run 5K
Event types listed include Sprint Individual, Sprint Athena (female 165+ lbs), Sprint Clydesdale (male 220+ lbs), Sprint Mixed Relay, and Sprint Aquabike (swim and bike only). Course maps are provided by the organizer.
Logistics, categories and policies
The race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon; USAT rules apply and an annual or one-day USAT license is required. Registration fees are published for each event, with prices scheduled to increase after December 31, 2025. Packet pickup is available at the race site on race day. Awards are planned for overall top finishers, masters, age group placings across multiple age bands, top Clydesdale and Athena, top relays, and top aquabike finishers. The organizer, Personal Best Racing LLC, maintains a no-refund policy; transfers between divisions are permitted following the organizer’s transfer procedure. Event cancellation or modification procedures reference coordination with local officials and state that no refunds will be issued for cancellations due to disasters.
