North Bend Trail Fest
North Bend Trail Fest is a community event in North Bend, Washington, combining a mountain running race weekend with an outdoor activities festival. Exhibits and activities include mountain biking, fly fishing, gravel biking and a climbing wall. The event base uses Torguson Park and finishes are near the Arete Cafe.
Race offerings include several distinct events and a multi event option:
- 30 km North Bend Skyline 30k - 6,300 ft vertical gain
- VK Mt Si Vertical Kilometer - ~1,000 m ascent under 5 km
- 10 km Little Si 10k - 1,275 ft vertical gain
- 35 km North Bend Double two day total - over 10,000 ft vertical gain
The North Bend Skyline 30k is part of the Vert Running Series Championship and is listed as an ITRA National Points Event with a UTMB Index 20k. The Skyline offers Elite, Sport, and Masters 45+ divisions, with a cash purse for Elite overall places and a performance threshold for non binary prize eligibility. Mt Si VK is limited to the first 70 entrants; the Double is limited to the first 50 entrants. All finishers receive custom finisher awards; Double finishers also receive a custom lunch container and meals after each race.
