Run With The Fishes : Issaquah, WA
Run With The Fishes is an annual road and trail event organized by the Rotary Club of Issaquah at Lake Sammamish State Park on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The event offers multiple distances and a short kids run organized around the park waterfront and Issaquah Creek.

The course begins inside the state park and follows the Lake Sammamish shoreline, with a one-mile stretch along SE 56th Street past the soccer fields and Costco, then returns to park trails that run alongside Issaquah Creek. For 2026 the course was altered to avoid a damaged bridge; the revised route uses the park’s large soccer fields to access trails on the west side of the creek. The 5K is one lap and the 10K consists of two laps. The 1K Kids’ Fun Run starts after the main races.
Event features include an event long sleeved running shirt for the main race, a kids T-shirt for the 1K, costume categories and prizes, local food trucks, live music, and a beer garden featuring local brewery offerings. A Discover Parking Pass is required at the park. Strollers are not suitable for the trail portion of the course. All registration revenue is returned to the local community through grants, scholarships, and outreach administered by the Rotary Club of Issaquah.
