About the race
The Garmin Noosa Triathlon is an Olympic distance triathlon staged around Noosa’s main beach, town centre and nearby hinterland. The event spans five days and features ten distinct races, including a large kids triathlon and festival-style events alongside the main race program. It is described by the organiser as the biggest Olympic distance triathlon in the world and includes elite and mass-participation fields. Racing starts from Noosa Beach and finishes in town with a noted walk of fame at the finish line.
The program combines swim, bike and run courses that use coastal and town roads and paths, and the broader event is paired with local beaches, cafes, bars and national parks in the Noosa area. For the listed edition individual entries are sold out while relay team entries and festival event entries remain available. The published event dates for the edition shown are 28 October to 1 November 2026.
