ASICS Runaway Noosa Marathon : event overview
ASICS Runaway Noosa Marathon is a destination running event held in Noosa Heads on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The event uses a unique multi-lap road course that starts and finishes in the heart of Noosa township, a few steps from Hastings Street. The course is flat, with no hills, and is described as fast and friendly.
The program offers four race distances to choose from:
- 42.2 km Marathon
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 10 km Run
- 5 km Run/Walk
A free event app provides live updates, athlete tracking and full event information on demand. All finishers receive a finisher medal. The event is presented as part of a weekend of activities in Noosa, with Swim Noosa listed as a companion water event and local shopping and beach options highlighted for the weekend. Official event merchandise is noted as coming soon. Typical conditions in May are shown as around 23°C, fine and sunny.
