NMTC Fall Series
The NMTC Fall Series runs from August to October 2026 and comprises nine short-distance trail races held across the Twin Ports. Distances range from 6 km to 11 km.
Races start on Wednesday evenings early in the series and switch to Sunday afternoons later as daylight shortens. The final race is followed by a potluck and prizes for all participants. Entry is free; donations are accepted online or at the race start.
One event in the series is the 9 km Hartley race. This loop course begins on Old Hartley Road and finishes in front of the nature center, beginning and ending near the main parking lot. The course uses multi-use singletrack through mixed forest with pines and occasional wild flower. The terrain is described as moderately technical and moderately hilly.
