NM Super Bowl Run 10k

Event Overview

The NM Super Bowl Run is an annual event held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Valley High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The event features several race distances: a 10K, a 5K, a 5K (17 and under), a Kids K (11 and under), and a virtual run option. A portion of the proceeds supports the RunFit After School Running Programs.

Race Details

All events start at Valley High School. The finish line is at Griegos Elementary School Field, located just north of Valley Pool Road. The event is chip-timed using a bib-worn timing device. All participants receive a finisher medal, an event T-shirt, and are eligible for age-group and overall awards based on gun time. There is a course time limit of 1 hour and 45 minutes for all participants.

Participant Information

Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports in the North Towne Plaza. Race-day registration is available. Registered participants can have a friend pick up their packet. Virtual run participants have the option to have their packet shipped for an additional fee. Dogs on short leashes are allowed on the course, and participants may run with headphones or GPS devices. Strollers and baby joggers are permitted but must start behind other runners, and the child must be secured and registered for a rider bib.

Logistics and Support

Parking is available at Valley High School and Griegos Elementary School. Access is via San Isidro, west of the high school on Valley Pool Road. Participants are asked to arrive between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Valley Pool Road closes to traffic at 10:30 a.m. Portable toilets are located near the start and finish. Water and Powerade are provided at fluid stations on the course. Medical staff and radio communication personnel will be present along the route and at the finish line.
