NM Shamrock Shuffle 2026 - Rio Rancho, NM
The NM Shamrock Shuffle takes place on March 15, 2026 at Loma Colorado Park near the Rio Rancho Aquatic Center. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes multiple distances for a range of participants.
Distances:
- 10K
- 5K (including a 5K category for ages 1 to 17)
- 2-Mile Walk
- Kids K (open to ages 1 to 11)
- 10K Virtual Run
- 5K Virtual Run or Walk
Participants receive an event t-shirt and finisher medal. Age group and overall awards are given for the 10K and 5K, with specific age divisions listed for each race. The Kids K provides a special recognition award for registered participants 11 and under, and awards are announced at the awards ceremony immediately following the Kids K.
Timing is electronic; each participant is assigned a timing device attached to their bib and must wear it for an official time. Packet pickup is available the day before at the New Balance store in Albuquerque and on race morning at the west parking lot of Loma Colorado Park. Water and Powerade stations are provided for the 10K and water for the 5K. Designated parking areas must be used and dogs are not permitted at Loma Colorado Park. Strollers and baby joggers are permitted on the 5K and must start at the back of the pack. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
