Niwot Mile
The Niwot Mile is a point-to-point downhill running event held in Niwot, Colorado on July 4, 2026. The course starts at Niwot High School and finishes at Niwot Market. The event offers an open adult entry and a youth category for children 12 years and younger.
Listed registration fees are $28.74 for the Niwot Mile and $12.69 for kids 12 and under. All registered participants receive a race T in adult or youth sizes and snacks after the race; shirts are not guaranteed for race day registration. The event awards over $1000 in prize money to top finishers, with additional age group prizes provided by Niwot Market.
Parking is available at the Niwot High School lot and on the north side of the Niwot Market parking lot, with additional on-street residential parking nearby. Packet pickup and race shirts are available at Niwot Market on July 3 from 11:00 to 17:00, and race day packet pickup and registration take place in the Niwot Market parking lot. A pancake breakfast and community festivities follow the race at Niwot Market; breakfast prices are $8 for ages 12 and older, $5 for ages 5–11, and free for children 4 and under.
