US Road Running - Tallahassee
The US Road Running event in Tallahassee, Florida, takes place at the Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway. This event features a trail-based course rather than a paved surface. Runners can choose from three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Participants are required to register through RunSignup before the event, as there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is scheduled at the venue and concludes shortly before the race begins. Parking is available directly at the Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway location.
The 5K and 10K participants utilize an out-and-back course that is 1.56 miles for a full loop. Those running the 5K complete the course twice, while 10K runners complete it four times. The Half Marathon follows a different out-and-back loop measuring 2.18 miles, which must be completed six times to reach the total distance.
A time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all distances. All finishers receive a medal, and the event includes an assessment for the best costume.
