Miles for Meals 5K (AED x Kearney Center)
Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) organizes the Miles for Meals 5K on November 8, 2026 in Tallahassee on the Florida State University campus. The event supports the Kearney Center, with all proceeds directed to efforts to reduce homelessness and hunger in the Big Bend Region.
The event features a 5K (3.1 miles) running or walking option. Registration carries a fee of $25. Early pre-registration runs from September 24 to October 22, and general pre-registration remains open until November 6; pre-registration before October 22 guarantees a t-shirt, while later registrations may not receive a guaranteed t-shirt. On-site registration will also be available on race day for those who did not pre-register.
Participants must sign a university-approved waiver to receive a bib; waivers will be available during on-site registration. Organizers plan raffles sponsored by partner organizations and intend to enter participants who attend on race day into prize drawings. The event theme uses Kearney Center blue, green, and white. Meeting point is the Integration Statue near the Student Union on the FSU campus. There are no refunds for race registration; if the event is canceled, organizers will communicate plans for distribution of shirts, race packets, and raffle prizes to registered participants.
