US Road Running - Tallahassee
The US Road Running event in Tallahassee offers multiple race distances held at the Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway. This event takes place on a trail surface rather than a hard road. All participants are required to register online in advance, as there is no registration available at the event location.
Parking for the event is located directly at the Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway. Participants can collect their race packets at the site starting 30 minutes before the event begins. The various race options have a combined course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
The distances available for this event include:
- 5K: An out-and-back route completed twice.
- 10K: An out-and-back route completed four times.
- Half Marathon: An out-and-back route completed six times.
The 5K and 10K participants utilize an out-and-back section measuring 1.56 miles per loop. The Half Marathon participants follow a different out-and-back section measuring 2.18 miles per loop. All finishers receive a medal for completing their respective distances. Participants also have the option to participate in a best costume competition.
