Nine Standards

The Nine Standards is a classic out-and-back running event taking place in the hills above Kirkby Stephen on January 1, 2025. This race covers a distance of 8 miles (12.9 km) with an elevation gain of 1801 feet (549 m). Participants can register online, with entry fees set at £10 for FRA members and £12 for non-members.

The event encourages runners to kick off the new year with a challenging race, and full FRA kit is required, with kit checks conducted prior to the start.
