Surfaces include grassy trods, hard packed footpaths and areas of loose rock. The route is fully marked with orange barrier tape, pin flags and coloured arrow signs; marshals will staff critical turns and road crossings. GPX and PDF map files are available for download.

Aid provision is primarily a water stop with some food items; finishers receive a hot or cold drink and cakes provided post race. Parking is in a working field just outside Reeth and may be muddy (what3words: ///cloud.gains.prominent). Toilets are at the village hall during registration and portable toilets will be at the start field.
