Event Overview

Fremington Frenzy is a trail running event scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026. The start and finish point is Low Fremington Village Hall in Reeth, North Yorkshire.

The Route

The course covers a distance of 11km. The route includes steep sections on Fremington Edge and follows Arkle Beck back to the finish. The terrain consists of a mix of grassy paths, hard-packed footpaths, and technical sections with loose rocks, passing through historic mining areas known as hushes. The event offers views of Swaledale.

Event Information

Participants must be 16 years or older on the event date. Entry is open from October 22, 2025, until March 21, 2026. Entry fees are £18.00 for UK Athletics members and £20.00 for non-members.

Highlights

The event is fully marked, with generous cut-off times. It provides fully stocked aid stations which include vegan and gluten-free options. All finishers receive a hot or cold drink and cakes.
