Event Overview
The Night Runners WPB Pride 5K Run/Walk is the sixth annual event, described as an LGBTQ+ celebration focused on community unity and family fun. The event takes place in West Palm Beach, Florida, with an address at 109 S Flagler Drive.
Event Format
Participants can choose from two event formats.
- Pride 5K Run/Walk Presented by Night Runners WPB: An in-person race.
- Virtual Pride 5K Run/Walk Presented by Night Runners WPB: A virtual option where participants can run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) indoors or outdoors on a specified date and submit their results online.
The in-person event is open to all walkers, joggers, and runners. It is a chip-timed race, with results posted online immediately after the event. All participants must finish within a 1 hour 30 minute course time limit.
Participant Perks
All registered participants, both in-person and virtual, will receive a limited edition event shirt and a unique finisher medal. A size guarantee for the shirt is offered for registrations before a specific date.
Additional Activities
A free Pride Showcase featuring local business vendors and food trucks will be held near the event site.
Awards
Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age category for male, female, and non-binary divisions. Winners are listed on the event website. Virtual participants are not eligible for these finisher awards.
Practical Information
Race day packet pickup is available on-site. A photo ID is required for packet collection. Parking is not available on N. Flagler Dr. or Banyan Blvd. near the event site; paid street parking and garages are offered by the city, and carpooling or rideshare services are encouraged. The event will proceed rain or shine.
