Freedom 4 Miler TEQUESTA is a multi-event gathering held at Constitution Park (594 Dover Road, Tequesta, FL 33469) on July 4, 2027. The main event is a chip-timed 4 Mile run/walk that follows a course through the Village of Tequesta and Tequesta Country Club, beginning on Dover Road behind Tequesta First Baptist Church. Each mile on the course is dedicated to a local fallen service member and the route features props, signs, snacks, and music. Families of the honored service members attend and are present at the finish area.
The event supports Families of Fallen Soldiers and BelieveWithMe.com’s Gold Star Christmas project, which provides Christmas gifts for children of fallen service members. An on-site after party in Constitution Park includes complimentary pancakes, Bolay food, an auction, a Tiny Cadet Cupcake Dash, and an awards ceremony. Proceeds from the event benefit the stated charity.
Multiple event options are offered, including a ruck division, a virtual 4 Mile option that is not chip timed or eligible for live-race awards, an Adult 1 Mile Fun Run restricted to adults, a Little Patriot’s 1 Mile for children 12 and under, and a Cadet Cupcake Dash for children 5 and under. Select participants receive short sleeve Sport Tek shirts and custom finisher medals for early registrants; age group and overall awards are also listed for the 4 Mile race.
