Freedom 4 Miler Tequesta
The event is a multi-race community event held on July 4, 2026 at Constitution Park and Dover Road in Tequesta, Florida. Race activity includes a main 4 mile run and walk plus additional divisions and shorter youth races. All proceeds benefit families of fallen soldiers through BelieveWithMe's Gold Star Christmas project.
The course for the 4 mile race is chip timed and passes through the Village of Tequesta and Tequesta Country Club. Each mile on the 4 mile course is named for a local fallen hero and features props, signs, snacks and music. Families of the fallen are present at the finish area. An after party in Constitution Park includes complimentary pancakes and Bolay food, a Tiny Cadet Cupcake Dash, an auction and an awards ceremony.
Participant items and awards vary by division. Examples include short sleeve Sport Tek shirts for early registrants, custom finisher medals for early finishers, overall and masters awards, and age group awards provided three deep in five year age groups. A virtual 4 mile option provides a shirt, medal and bib but is not chip timed and is not eligible for live race awards.
