Nic's Race 5K, Kids 2k, & Duathlon
Nic's Race is a multi-event day at Kincaid Park in Anchorage, Alaska, held on September 27, 2026. The program includes in-person and virtual options and brings together a 5K run, a kid 2K fun run, a family duathlon relay, and age-group kids duathlon races.
Race logistics include early bib pickup on September 24 at two locations: Trek Store of Anchorage from 5 to 7 pm, or Kincaid Park at the top of the Coastal Trail from 3 to 5 pm. Race day bib pickup is available from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Organizers ask participants to arrive at least 30 minutes before their event for check-in and staging. The duathlon transition area is located in parking spots next to the multi-use trail near the top of the Coastal Trail.
Duathlon and run formats use paved and trail surfaces at Kincaid Park. Age-group duathlon distances are specified by the organizer for the childrens races and the family relay follows a kid run, adult bike, kid run sequence.

- 5K timed and untimed, in-person and virtual
- 2K kids fun run
- Kids duathlon formats including .35 and .7 mile runs with corresponding bike segments
