Niceville Sunset Stampede 5K Run/Walk
The Niceville Sunset Stampede is a glow themed evening run and walk held on July 25, 2026, supporting the Niceville High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams. The event uses the Northwest Florida State College baseball parking lot for the start and finish and features a two loop course around the college perimeter.

The 5K course contains a water stop located at mile 1.5. The 1 Mile fun run/walk is offered as a shorter option; no awards are given for the 1 Mile distance.
The event is dog and stroller friendly; glow lights on pets and strollers are encouraged in darker areas. The first 250 registrants receive a race T shirt, and shirt size is guaranteed for participants registered by July 10. The published registration fee for entrants is $40.00.
Awards are planned for overall male and female finishers in the 5K and for age group winners. There are no refunds for any reason, including cancellation or postponement of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
