Event overview
The 15th Annual Round the Bay Relay and Ultra takes place on December 27, 2025, in the Fort Walton Beach area around Choctawhatchee Bay. The main course is 36.8 miles and runs through the Emerald Coast region of Northwest Florida. The Island Resort is the event host hotel and will handle packet pickup on December 26. A separate 5K Bloody Mary Beach Recovery Run is scheduled for December 28, 2025. The event includes aid stations, post-race food and music, and special beachfront hotel rates for participants.
Course and event categories
The course is described as six unofficial legs that pass through Destin, Bluewater Bay, Niceville, Valparaiso, Shalimar, and Fort Walton Beach. Course features listed include seven bridges, nine hills, four bayous, and one bay. Tentative on-course support includes aid stations near mile 16, mile 22, and mile 30.
