About the race
The Niagara Ultra is an annual running event held in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, featuring distances of 50 km, marathon, half marathon, and 10 km. The 2025 race marks its 31st edition. The course follows the scenic Niagara River Parkway on a traffic-free asphalt footpath, passing historic sites like Fort George and offering continuous views of the Niagara River, with turnaround points at Niagara Falls and Queenston.
Walkers are welcome in most divisions if they meet time limits and adhere to competitive walking rules. The event supports the Bruce Trail Conservancy and provides participants registered early with a sweatshirt. It is part of the Ontario Ultra & Trail Race Series.
