Newquay 10k 2026 : event overview
The Newquay 10k takes place in Newquay on Sunday 1 February 2026. It is the second event in the Cornish Grand Prix Series and is a 10K road race that starts and finishes in Newquay. The course is described as generally fairly flat with one Cornish lane providing a hill within the first mile. The 2026 route is the same as in previous years and includes a number of traffic-controlled junctions and roundabouts. The event is organised by Newquay Road Runners.
Entries, logistics and rules
Entries open 24 October 2025 and close 28 January 2026. The minimum age is 15 or older. Entry fees are £20.00 for UKA members and £22.00 for non-members. At the time of listing there are 81 participants. Fifty pence from every entry will be donated to The Cornwall Hospice Charity. Finishers goodies are not guaranteed for entries made after 2 January; sizes may not match requests. Runners may opt out of finishers goodies; opting out is recorded on the race number and cannot be changed after entry. Local car parks are a 5-10 minute walk from Race HQ and there is no parking on the Newquay Sports Centre site. A bag drop will be provided and details are sent in the race pack.
