Newquay 10k 2026 : Event overview
Newquay 10k 2026 is a 10 kilometre road race in Newquay held on Sunday 1 February 2026. It is the second event in the Cornish Grand Prix Series. The course starts and finishes in Newquay and is generally fairly flat, with one Cornish lane giving a hill within the first mile. The 2026 route follows the same course as previous years and includes several traffic-controlled junctions and roundabouts. The event organiser is Newquay Road Runners. Additional information
- Minimum age: 15 or older on the event date.
- Entry fees: UKA members £20.00, non-members £22.00. Entries were open from 24 October 2025 and closed on 28 January 2026.
- Charitable donation: 50p from each entry will be donated to The Cornwall Hospice Charity.
- Finisher goodies: Those entering after 2 January are not guaranteed goodies; entrants may opt out of receiving goodies and this choice is recorded on the race number and cannot be changed after entry.
- Logistics: No parking is available on the Newquay Sports Centre site; local car parks are a 5-10 minute walk from Race HQ. A bag drop will be provided; details appear in the race pack.
- Rules: headphones are not permitted and marshals’ directions must be followed; rule breaches can lead to disqualification.
