Tywardreath Trotter
The Tywardreath Trotter is a multi terrain road and trail race held in Tywardreath, Cornwall. The course covers approximately 6.79 miles on a mix of footpaths, bridleways and quiet country lanes. The route begins with a lap around the village before heading into the surrounding countryside and includes hilly sections.
The event is based in the centre of Tywardreath and starts and finishes at the local pub, the New Inn. Marshals and local residents provide support around the course. The race is organised by the Tywardreath Village Fete Committee as part of the village summer celebrations and has been held since 2006. It is included in the Cornwall Multi Terrain Race Series. Proceeds from the event are donated to local charities.
