About the race
The Tywardreath Trotter is a multi‑terrain running race based in the centre of Tywardreath, Cornwall. The course covers approximately 6.79 miles and uses a mix of footpaths, bridleways and quiet country lanes. The route is hilly and includes an initial lap around the village before heading out into the local countryside. The race starts and finishes at the local pub and is supported along the route by marshals and local residents.
The event is organised by the Tywardreath Village Fete Committee as part of the village summer celebrations. It has been held since 2006 and is part of the Cornwall Multi‑Terrain Race Series. Entry is open to runners aged 16 or older. Entry fees listed for this edition are £16 for UKA members and £18 for non members.
