Indian Queens Half Marathon
The Indian Queens Half Marathon is a community road and trail race based at the Indian Queens Working Mens Club in Indian Queens, Cornwall. This will be the 44th staging, organised by local volunteers, with monies raised shared between local groups and charities. The event is listed as a race in the Cornish Grand Prix series and a UK Athletics licence has been applied for.
The course is a half marathon that includes around five miles on the firm Goss Moor Trail and nearby country lanes. Total climb is 140 metres. The trail section can be muddy and uneven and may contain craters. Runners may encounter other users and hazards such as cows, ponies, adders and ticks. Only the final 300 metres are traffic free; most of the route is open to other users. Cut off time is three hours. Dogs, cycles, pushchairs and walkers are not allowed and outside assistance is prohibited. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Entries open 1 April 2026 and close 30 July 2026. Minimum age is 17 years. Entry fees are listed as affiliated 23 pounds and unaffiliated 25 pounds. There are no entries on the day and shirts are ordered by 10 July so late entries may not get preferred sizes. Chip timing uses gun to finish times for results and the ankle chip is removed in the finish funnel. A baggage facility is provided and basic facilities and catering are available nearby. Headphones are prohibited and may lead to disqualification. Results are published after the race on national and regional results sites.
