Amica Newport Marathon & Half Marathon - Race information
The Amica Newport Marathon & Half Marathon is scheduled for October 11, 2026. The event offers two certified road races on coastal roads in Newport and Middletown, Rhode Island, with both a start and a beachside finish at Easton’s Beach.
Both courses are USATF certified and the marathon is an official Boston Marathon qualifier. The route passes historic mansions, stretches of sandy beach, and other waterfront views. Live runner tracking and split times will be available via the event tracking app.

Logistics notes include packet pick-up available on the days before and on race day; photo ID is required at pick-up and participants may pick up for others with an ID copy. There is no parking at Easton’s Beach; designated parking is provided at Second Beach for the marathon and at Aquidneck Corporate Park for the half marathon, with continuous shuttle service between parking areas and the beach. Gear bag drop is located near the Beach Pavilion at Easton’s Beach and athletes must provide their own bag. Mobile locker rentals are available starting at $10.
Post-race amenities include athlete food under the beach bathhouse, event photography by MarathonFoto, and a beer garden operated by Ragged Island Brewing where the first beer is provided for runners. All finishers receive a medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and to the top three in each age group: under 19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 plus.
