Amica Newport Marathon & Half Marathon : Race information
The Amica Newport Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on October 11, 2026, in Newport and Middletown, Rhode Island. Both courses are USATF certified; the marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Runners start and finish at Easton’s Beach and follow coastal roads that pass historic mansions, waterfront views, and stretches of sandy beach, finishing at the beach pavilion.

The event provides live runner tracking and split times through a dedicated tracking app. Packet pick-up happens in the days leading up to and on race day; all participants must present photo ID at pick-up. There is no parking at Easton’s Beach on race day; shuttle service runs between designated parking lots and the start area. Marathon parking is at Second Beach in Middletown; half-marathon parking is at Aquidneck Corporate Park.
Race-day logistics include a gear bag drop near the start/finish at the Beach Pavilion; athletes must bring their own bag. Mobile locker rentals are available on-site. All finishers receive a medal; awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers and top three in each age division. Post-race athlete food is provided under the beach bathhouse, and a beer garden with local brewery participation is available for runners.
