The Amica Newport Marathon & Half Marathon is a road race held in Newport and Middletown, Rhode Island, on October 11, 2026. The event offers two USATF-certified courses that run along oceanfront roads and pass Newport’s historic mansions, with both races starting and finishing at Easton’s Beach.

The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Both courses include waterfront sections and a beachside finish. The event typically draws several thousand participants each year and uses live runner tracking and split times through an event tracking app.
Logistics include packet pick-up and registration on the days before the race, with limited bib pick-up on race morning and no onsite race-day registration. There is no parking at the start/finish area; designated parking lots are paired with shuttle service to Easton’s Beach on race day. Athletes may use a staffed gear drop near the start/finish and rental lockers are available for valuables.
Post-race amenities include athlete-only food and water under the beach bathhouse and a beer garden with a local brewery; alcohol service requires ID. All finishers receive a medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall and to the top three in standard age-group categories from under 19 through 70 plus.
