Newcastle MoRun at Exhibition Park
The Newcastle MoRun is a charity running event at Exhibition Park, Town Moor, Newcastle upon Tyne, scheduled for 21 November 2026. It offers chip timed races with several distance options and supports Movember, raising awareness and funds for men’s health causes.
Distances
- 1.5 km Mini MoRun with chip timing and medal
- 5 km MoRun, one lap, chip timed
- 10 km MoRun, two laps, chip timed
- Half marathon initial 1.1 km loop then four full laps, chip timed
The course is a mix of path and tarmac, described as flat, dog friendly and OK for buggy running though some sections may be bumpy; it is not suitable for wheelchairs. Runners receive a race chip and headband at registration and a MoRunning medal at the finish. Drinks and sweets are available at the finish line. There are bonus medals and spot prizes for categories such as best dressed and fastest Mo.
Event facilities include toilets in the event hub and limited bag storage under manned gazebos. There is no parking inside the park and only limited parking around the outskirts; public transport and walking or cycling are suggested.
