Newcastle 10K : 23 January 2027
Newcastle 10K is scheduled for Saturday 23 January 2027 at the Quayside in Newcastle upon Tyne. The organiser delivers the event in partnership with Gateshead Harriers and plans full road closures for the race, with over 3,000 runners expected.
The course follows an out and back route along the Quayside and passes beneath or alongside several bridges, including the Swing Bridge, High Level Bridge, Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, King Edward VII Bridge and Redheugh Bridge. Runners pass views of the Tyne Bridge, the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, the Glasshouse and the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and finish with the Millennium Bridge as a backdrop. The route is described as flat and fast.

- RunThrough Foundation Place (no fundraising required), £80
- 10K A race (sub 40 mins), £35
- 10K B race, £35
Entry includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post race goodies. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are provided along the course. An event village offers food and drink options and free partner goodies. An event t-shirt is available for purchase at a discounted price as part of entry.
