Newcastle 10K
The Newcastle 10K takes place on the Quayside in Newcastle upon Tyne. Organized in partnership with Gateshead Harriers, the event utilizes full road closures to accommodate approximately 3,000 participants. The race is part of the Top Flight Race Series and utilizes a chip-timing system for all runners.
The course follows a flat out-and-back route along the Newcastle Quayside. The path passes beneath several bridges, including the Swing Bridge, High Level Bridge, Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, King Edward VII Bridge, and Redheugh Bridge. Participants pass landmarks such as the Tyne Bridge, the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, the Glasshouse, and the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art. The finish line is located with the Millennium Bridge as a backdrop.

The event features an A race for participants targeting a time under 40 minutes and a B race for other runners. Each kilometer is indicated with distance flags, and marshals are stationed throughout the course for guidance.
The event site includes an event village with various food and drink options. Every participant receives a themed medal, free race photos, and post-race goodies at the finish line.
