Xfinity Newburyport Half Marathon | Relay | 5K
The event in Newburyport, Massachusetts is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2026, with a harbor-side start and finish in Cashman Park. The course runs through the City of Newburyport, along the Clipper Rail Trail and scenic roads of West Newbury. The half marathon is USATF certified (MA25016JK). A two-person relay uses an exchange zone at mile 6.5 and shuttle buses transport relay runners to and from that exchange; return shuttles run as needed.

Aid stations are located at miles 1.5, 3.2, 5.0, 8.3, 10.5 and 12.4; stations provide water, Gatorade and port-o-johns, with energy packets at the fourth aid station and GU packets at mile 8.3. The 5K has one aid station. A gear check is available in the registration area. Municipal parking is available near Cashman Park and downtown Newburyport.
Participant amenities include finisher medals for half marathon and relay finishers, a free hoodie for the first 2,000 combined in-person and virtual registrants, a beer ticket for participants 21 and older, free race photos and a finish line video. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each five-year age group and will not be mailed. Course time limits apply: 3.5 hours for the half marathon and 1 hour 15 minutes for the 5K. The organizer lists official charity partners and reports community giving to local organizations.
