Gut Buster
Gut Buster takes place on 28 December 2026 at Butlers Lands Farm, Mortimer, Reading, Berkshire RG7 2AG. The course runs across fields and footpaths and includes water crossings and sections described as passing Roman Walls. The final 400 metres can vary depending on farmer activity and crop rotation.
Past editions have included notably muddy conditions, with particularly heavy mud in 2017 and 2022. At the finish line participants are offered complimentary mulled wine and mince pies, and the event plans to have a local brewery, massage and additional refreshments when available.
The entry package includes a medal, an iTAB engraved with name and finish time delivered a few days after the race, free race photos, chip timing and ample toilet facilities. Dogs are not permitted at this event due to bus restrictions and requests from local landowners.

- 10K - open to entrants aged 13 and over on 28/12/2026, fee £32
- 10 Mile - open to entrants aged 16 and over on 28/12/2026, fee £35
