Woodcote 10K
The Woodcote 10K is a licensed road race held in Woodcote, Oxfordshire, with the venue at Woodcote Village Hall on Reading Road, RG8 0QY. The event takes place in January 2027 and attracts both club and non-affiliated runners.
The course is an undulating, meandering route on by-roads, flanked by woods and farmland. It is kilometre marked, well marshalled and has been measured and licensed by UK Athletics while the event is licensed by England Athletics. The race is often described by participants as a tough 10K in the South Chilterns.
All proceeds from the event support charitable causes. Money raised for the 2027 event will be split between My Cancer My Choices, West Berkshire Homeless and the Rotary Club of Pangbourne Charitable Trust. Previous and additional beneficiaries have included Daisey's Dream, Blood Bikes, Purley Park Trust, Breast Cancer Care, Alzheimer’s Society, Readifood, Thames Valley Air Ambulance, LaunchPad Reading and Shelter Boxes.
