Santa Claws 10km

Santa Claws 10km is the second edition of a trail event held on December 24 at the Renegade Brewery on the Yattendon Estate in West Berkshire. The route uses local trails, woodland and single-track footpaths and is hilly at times, with an elevation gain of 140 m and approximately 75% off-road terrain. There is one water refill station on course and the event is cupless on course; a pint cup and a free drink are provided at the finish (alcoholic or non-alcoholic options included).

The event includes chip timing, a finishers medal, a mince pie for each runner, downloadable race photos, prizes, toilets, free onsite car parking and a bag drop. Minimum age is 16 and the course cutoff is two hours, with a cutoff that allows a walking pace. Entry fees are listed at £31 to £33, with a 10% discount for the first 150 entries. Entries close on December 17 or when capacity is reached. A race guide is published in advance and the event raises funds for Newbury Riding for the Disabled and PALS.
