Newbury Duathlon : 18 April 2027
The 2027 Newbury Duathlon is based at Chieveley Village Hall & Recreational Centre in Newbury, Berkshire. The venue is north of Chieveley village on the east side of the High Street, about 5 miles north of Newbury and close to Junction 13 of the M4. The postcode for sat navs is RG20 8TE.
Distances
- 5 km run on mainly off road wide paths
- 25 km bike course through the downs and villages
- 5 km run finishing with a lap around the field
Registration takes place at Chieveley Village Hall. BTF members must show their licence or pay a day licence fee; non-members may be asked for photo ID. Transition racking is available before the race; only competitors may enter transition and participants should keep belongings to a minimum. Competitors must retain their race number to collect bikes after the event.
A cycle helmet must be worn and fastened before taking hold of a bike and must remain fastened until the bike is re-racked. The 5 km run uses well maintained wide paths and can be muddy in wet conditions. Car parking is available on site but may fill quickly. Refreshments will be provided onsite by the 3rd Newbury Scout Group. Organisers are unable to offer refunds for this event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
