Newbury Duathlon 2027
The 2027 Newbury Duathlon takes place on 18 April and is based at Chieveley Village Hall & Recreational Centre near Newbury, Berkshire. Chieveley Village Hall is north of Chieveley village on the east side of the High Street. Chieveley is about 5 miles north of Newbury close to Junction 13 of the M4. Postcode for sat navs is RG20 8TE.

The event follows a run-bike-run format. The first 5 km run is mainly off road on wide, well maintained paths and can be muddy when wet. The 25 km bike course tours the downs and nearby villages. A cycle helmet must be worn and must be fastened on the head before taking hold of the bike; it must remain fastened until after the bike is racked. The second run repeats the first course with an additional circuit of the field to finish in the marked finish area.
Registration takes place at Chieveley Village Hall between 08:30 and 09:30. British Triathlon Federation members must show their licence or pay a £5 day licence; non members may be asked for photo ID. Transition racking is open between 08:30 and 09:50; only competitors are allowed in transition and race numbers are required to collect bikes after the race.
Onsite car parking is available but may fill rapidly. Refreshments are provided onsite by the 3rd Newbury Scout Group. Refunds are not available for this event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
