Event Overview

The New Forest Brockenhurst Trail Run takes place in the New Forest National Park in Hampshire. The event begins at the Roundhill Campsite and follows a course through ancient woodland and heathland. The terrain consists of wide, hard-packed gravel pathways designed to remain solid underfoot in various weather conditions.

Course Details

Participants travel through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where wildlife such as native New Forest ponies, horses, donkeys, and deer are often visible grazing near the trails. The terrain is relatively flat with some slightly undulating sections. For example, the longest route features a total elevation gain of 183 meters.

Amenities and Finishers

The route is marked to guide runners through the forest and heathland landscapes. Upon crossing the finish line, participants receive a metal medal, a finisher's gift, and a drink.
