Round the Lakes 10K
Round the Lakes is a club organised 10 km road race held on a loop around Poole Park. The course is described as flat and fast and the event uses Poole Park Pavilion for the start and the finish. A route map and course elevation are published by the organisers.
The event has an entry structure and age rules. The minimum entry age is 15. Entry options include online entry, postal entry using a downloadable form, and on the day entry where spaces permit; on the day entries incur an additional two pound fee if the race is not sold out. Published entry fees are twenty pounds for affiliated runners and twenty two pounds for non affiliated runners.
Prizes are awarded across overall and age categories. Overall prizes are given to first, second and third male and female. Category prizes cover senior and multiple veteran classes including M40 W35, M50 W45, M60 W55 and older age groups, plus under 20 categories. There are also male and female team prizes with three to count. Runners may be counted in only one individual class other than the team prize.
