Nene Valley Trail Run

The event takes place on 13 June 2026 at Castle Farm Campsite in Fotheringhay, Peterborough (PE8 5HZ). It is organised by Nene Valley Races and offers off-road trail running on marked and marshalled routes. The courses run on tracks and paths through Northamptonshire countryside, including fields, bluebell woodlands, riverside sections, disused railway tracks and quiet villages. Camping is available on the Friday and Saturday nights at the campsite. There are no showers on site; portaloos are provided and a river is adjacent to the campsite. Aid stations are described as well stocked and participants are asked to bring their own cup or water bottle for water stations.

Entries, fees and policies

Entries open 16 June 2025 and close 11 June 2026. Entry fees are £33 for the 10-mile race and £44 for the 20-mile race. The event states there are no refunds, but places may be transferred to another person via the entry system. An optional purchase of event cover (XCover) is offered to enable a possible refund in certain circumstances. A donation of £1 from every entry will be given to the local charity Kings Cliffe Active.
