Nene Valley Trail Run
The Nene Valley Trail Run is a pair of off road trail running races held on 13 June 2026 at Castle Farm Campsite in Fotheringhay, near Peterborough (PE8 5HZ). Distances offered include:
- 10 miles: £33 entry fee
- 20 miles: £44 entry fee
Both routes follow easy tracks and paths through rolling Northamptonshire countryside. The courses pass through green fields, ancient bluebell woodlands, rivers, disused railway tracks and quiet villages. Both distances are fully marked and marshalled and have well stocked aid stations.
Camping is available on the Friday and Saturday nights at the campsite. There are no showers on site; a river is adjacent to the campsite and clean portaloo facilities are provided. Camping must be booked through the event entry system when booking a place.
Entries open 16 June 2025 and close 11 June 2026 via the SiEntries system. There are no refunds if a participant cannot race, but places may be transferred to another person through SiEntries. An optional XCover purchase is available to provide possible refund cover for unforeseen circumstances.
The organisers request that participants bring their own cup or water bottle for aid stations as part of eco friendly measures. One pound from every entry will be donated to Kings Cliffe Active.
