Nene Valley Trail Run : 13 June 2026, Castle Farm Campsite
The Nene Valley Trail Run takes place on Saturday 13 June 2026 at Castle Farm Campsite in Fotheringhay, near Peterborough (PE8 5HZ). The event offers two off-road distances:
- 10 miles
- 20 miles
Entries open on 16 June 2025 and close on 11 June 2026. Entry fees are £33 for the 10 mile race and £44 for the 20 mile race. Registration is handled through SiEntries. An optional extra on booking is a T-shirt or a Trees not Tees donation. The organiser is Nene Valley Races.
Course, facilities and policies
Both routes are fully marked and marshalled. Courses run on tracks and paths through fields, bluebell woodlands, along rivers, disused railway tracks and through quiet villages. Aid stations are described as well stocked; participants are asked to bring their own cup or water bottle to reduce waste. Camping is available for Friday and Saturday nights at the campsite; there are no showers but portaloos and a river nearby. The event aims to be eco-friendly and encourages car sharing.
The entry policy states no refunds are available, but places may be transferred to another person via SiEntries. £1 from every entry will go to Kings Cliffe Active.
