Bauble Bimble
Bauble Bimble is a timed, multi-loop running event held at Ferry Meadows, Ham Lane, Peterborough. The course is a 5.3 km loop routed on traffic-free country park paths that pass lakes and a river. The surface is mostly firm sealed or tarmac paths with some softer trail and grass sections, roughly 82% sealed and 18% trail, and total climb across the lap is about 17 m (high 15 m / low 3 m).
The event is offered in both 6-hour and 4-hour formats. Participants may complete as many laps as they can within the event time limit; laps stack cleanly to form common distances. Race headquarters and registration are based at the Lakeside Centre on the watersports side of the park, with the aid station and base camp located at the start / lap point. Logistics notes: parking at the park is chargeable, the event operates as a cupless event so participants need their own bottles or cups for refilling, and organisers provide an aid station each lap. Footwear guidance suggests road trainers as the primary option, with trail shoes optional depending on prior weather.
