Location and Schedule
The event takes place at the Ross Ferraro Town Center (Archway) at 539 Fountain View Drive in Carol Stream, Illinois. Race day registration and packet pick-up begin at 7:30 AM. The kids dash starts at 8:15 AM, followed by the 5K at 8:30 AM. A pre-race packet pick-up is available on Friday, June 19, from 3 PM to 6 PM at Dick Pond Athletics in Carol Stream.
Registration and Awards
Registration for the 5K has an early bird fee. Participants must register by June 1 to be guaranteed a race shirt and size. The top three overall male and female runners in the 5K receive medals. Age group awards are also given. Family and team registration is encouraged, with a discount available for families of four or more.
Purpose
The event benefits Neighborhood Food Pantries (NFP), a network of six food pantries in DuPage County. The organization's mission is to feed neighbors with dignity and work towards a food-secure world.
