About the race
The NAV4 LiAD Recce - Caldbeck to Threlkeld is a guided running event designed for participants of the Lakes in a Day challenge. Hosted by Joe Faulkner and the NAV4 team, this recce allows runners to familiarize themselves with the first section of the route, covering 12 miles with significant elevation gain. Participants will navigate challenging terrain, including the River Caldew and the ascent of Blencathra.
The day includes expert advice on gear, nutrition, navigation, and event strategy. Limited to 15 participants, transport is provided from Threlkeld to the start point at Caldbeck. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
