Naturally Outdoors Endurance Race
The event offers 2 hour and 4 hour endurance competitions held on a 2.5 mile loop around the Florence Soccer Complex in Florence, South Carolina. Participants complete as many laps as possible within their chosen time; winners are those with the most laps when the clock expires. In a tie where two leading age-group runners share the same loop at the end, the runner who started that loop first is awarded the victory.
This year includes both running and rucking divisions. Rucking required weights are 30 pounds non-consumable for men, 20 pounds non-consumable for women, and 20 pounds non-consumable for participants 18 and under. An aid station is located at the start line and will be passed on each loop.
Registration details differ by division. Run registration opens February 1, 2026 and closes November 9, 2026 with entry fees listed as $80 for the 2 hour run and $90 for the 4 hour run. Ruck registration opens February 2, 2026 and closes September 30, 2026 with early pricing noted; ruck fees are $70 for the 2 hour ruck and $80 for the 4 hour ruck. The deadline to guarantee early pricing and race merchandise is November 9, 2026.
All participants receive a finisher coin. First place overall male and female runners receive a new pair of running shoes from the in-store selection; first place male and female age group winners receive a $25 gift card. Proceeds benefit the greater Florence area trail and park systems and the local rail-trail expansion. Parking is in the Soccer Complex lots with signs and attendants; the Naturally Outdoors tent will mark the start line and remaining packet pickup.
