14th Annual Florence Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
The event takes place at Briggs Elementary School, 1012 Congaree Dr., Florence, SC. It includes a measured 5K course and a separate kids dash for younger participants.
Distances:
- 5K (3.1 Miles) measured 5K course
- Gobbler Wobbler Kids Dash 50 yards, untimed, for ages 10 and under
Runners and walkers may use baby strollers and bring dogs or other animals. The 5K course has a water stop that participants pass twice. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. Pictures will be taken at the kids finish line.
Race swag and services include participant shirts while supplies last, custom race bibs, and a finisher medal for the first 250 5K finishers. Packet pickup is available race morning near the start line. Day of registration is available if needed.
Awards are given for the top three overall male and female, the top three masters male and female (age 40 and up), and the top three in each age group. No awards will be given for the Gobbler Dash. Parking is available in the Briggs Elementary parking lot and restrooms are located near the start line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
