Naperville Trails Half Marathon & 10K
The Naperville Trails event takes place on September 5, 2026 in Naperville, IL, using the crushed limestone trails of the Danada Forest Preserve. The course finishes around the horse race track on grass and both the half marathon and the 10K are USATF certified. The race is chip timed and offers live participant tracking through a mobile app.
Participants may choose between a cotton t-shirt or upgrade to a ladies' fit tank top for an additional fee. A finisher medal is awarded to every participant in both distances, and winner medals are given to the top three overall and top three in each age group. Age categories start at 10 and under and extend in multi-year bands up to 70 and over. The event is also a qualifying race for the Run Chicagoland series.
Logistics include gear check on site, packet mailing for a stated fee, and on-site packet pick up options. Remote parking is provided with shuttle bus service from designated off-site lots. Volunteers support water stations, participant check-in, and course marshaling; volunteers receive an event shirt.
The event provides pacers covering a range of goal times, and enforces course time limits: half marathon 3 hours 30 minutes, 10K 2 hours 30 minutes. Headphones are allowed but not recommended.
