The Winter Run to the Castle Ultra
The event offers two point-to-point distances from Aberdyfi along the Welsh coast:
- 42 miles (Ultra)
- 27 miles (Marathon, Aberdyfi to Barmouth)
The route follows the coastal path and passes the seafront at Tywyn, the village of Fairbourne and Fairbourne bridge, then Barmouth to the castle town of Harlech, which is stated as approximately 42 miles from Aberdyfi. The course surface is a mixture of beach, tracks, and pavements and is described as very well signed.
