Event overview

Nanny Goat is a multi-distance ultrarunning event held at a private horse ranch in Riverside, CA (2600 Grace Street) over Memorial Day weekend, May 23-24, 2026. The race format is time-based laps: runners complete as many laps as possible within a set time or distance. Distances offered include:

  • 24HR
  • 24HR Relay
  • 12HR
  • 6HR
  • 3HR

Registration is open and closes May 20. Active duty military, police, firefighters and first responders receive a 10% discount. No refunds; roll overs are considered case-by-case. A discount code is available for parents registering under-18 runners.

Course, amenities and awards

The course is a flat, 1-mile loop, mostly dirt and grass, with wide trail sections and footing described as good. Support is stated to be never more than a half mile away. Camping is available on site at no charge; tent, trailer and RV camping are welcome. The venue includes space for swimming and areas for children to play.

Awards and race items: participants in the 6HR, 12HR and 24HR events receive a T-shirt, a drop bag with running items, and a medal. For 2026, all runners who complete at least one lap receive a medal. Finishers of the 100-mile event who meet time criteria receive buckles; relay teams that complete 100 cumulative miles within the event window receive a buckle for each team member.
