Naac Festival of Running

The NAAC Festival of Running, organized by North Ayrshire Athletics Club, takes place at St Matthews Academy in Saltcoats. The event features a flat and fast 10k race along a scenic route including a promenade, old railway track, and pavement, with one small hill. It starts and finishes on the athletics arena.

There is also a 2k chip-timed youth run for ages 6-15 on a flat course around the track and surrounding paths, plus a 400m fun run. All finishers receive a T-shirt and medal. The event promotes family participation and offers prizes across various age categories.
