Naac Festival of Running

The NAAC Festival of Running, organized by North Ayrshire Athletics Club, takes place at St Matthews Academy in Saltcoats. The event features a flat and fast 10k race along a scenic route including a promenade, old railway track, and pavement, with one small hill. It starts and finishes on the athletics arena within the school grounds.

There is also a 2k chip-timed fun run for children aged 6-15, following a flat course around the running track and surrounding paths. A 400m fun run is available on race day. All finishers receive a T-shirt and medal, with prizes awarded across various age categories.
