Kilmacolm Running Festival 2026
The Kilmacolm Running Festival takes place on Sunday 13 September 2026 at Birkmyre Park Fitness Gym in Kilmacolm. The event includes timed races, a family fun run, and on-course support.
Distances
- Half Marathon : Entry £32.00; minimum age 16+; scenic village and countryside route.
- 10K : Entry £24.50; minimum age 16+; uses part of the Half Marathon route.
- 3K : Entry £14 adults, £12 juniors; entrants under 9 must be accompanied.
- Toddle Woddle : Family walk/run in Birkmyre Park; prams allowed; medals for participants; no pre-registration.
All pre-registered participants receive a race number with an embedded electronic timing chip and safety pins. Online entries include an official event T-shirt; on-the-day entries are not guaranteed a T-shirt. Courses are professionally measured and timed by ProTay and official results are published after each race.
The festival is a Scottish Athletics Championship race. Facilities include three water stations on the 10K and Half Marathon routes, bottled water at the finish, marshals, first aid cover, and toilet and changing facilities at the gym. Food and drink are available from Birkmyre Café by Nardini. Car parking is available on surrounding streets; participants are asked to be considerate of local residents.
Entry deadlines vary by race: Half Marathon closes 01 Sep 2026, 10K and 3K close 19 Aug 2026. Entry fees are non-refundable and entries cannot be taken by telephone. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
