Kilmacolm Running Festival 2026
The Kilmacolm Running Festival takes place on 13 September 2026 at Birkmyre Park Fitness Gym in Kilmacolm. The event includes multiple races for different ages and abilities, and is designated a Scottish Athletics Championship race.
Races include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 3K
- Toddle Woddle (family event)
Online entries close on 19 August 2026. Pre-registered participants receive a race number with an embedded electronic timing chip, safety pins and an official event T-shirt for online entries. On-the-day entries are not guaranteed a T-shirt. All pre-registered runners must check in on the day to collect their race pack.
Race details include minimum ages, entry fees and prize positions. The Half Marathon and 10K have a minimum age of 16 and offer prizes for the first three male and female finishers. The 3K has adult and junior categories, age-group prizes for boys and girls and requires entrants under 9 to be accompanied by an adult. The Toddle Woddle is a family walk/run around Birkmyre Park; prams are allowed and medals are provided for participants.
Course and support information: the Half Marathon route passes through Kilmacolm village and surrounding countryside. The 10K and Half Marathon have three water stations; bottled water is available at the finish line. Marshals and first aid cover are provided, toilets and changing facilities are at Birkmyre Park Fitness Gym, and food and drink are available from Birkmyre Café by Nardini.
