Kilmacolm Running Festival 2026
The Kilmacolm Running Festival takes place on 13 September 2026 at Birkmyre Park Fitness Gym in Kilmacolm. The event includes multiple races and community-focused activities. It is listed as a Scottish Athletics Championship race and courses are professionally timed by ProTay.

Entry and race pack details are specified in advance. Online entries close on 19 August 2026. Pre-registered participants receive a race number with an embedded electronic timing chip, safety pins and an official event T-shirt; on-the-day entrants are not guaranteed a T-shirt. Entry fees are non-refundable and entries cannot be taken by telephone. Results are published by the event timing provider after each race.
Age and participant rules vary by race. The Half Marathon and 10K have a minimum age of 16 on race day. The 3K has adult and junior categories; entrants under nine must be accompanied by an adult. The Toddle Woddle is a family event with prams allowed and medals for all participants; it does not require pre-registration.
Course support and facilities include three water stations on the 10K and Half Marathon routes, bottled water at the finish, course marshals, first aid cover, toilet and changing facilities at the gym, and food and drink from Birkmyre Café by Nardini. Parking is available on surrounding streets; attendees are asked to avoid blocking driveways or parking illegally.
