MyBFF 5K/8.13K

This is the sixth annual MyBFF 5K/8.13K walk. The event raises funds for the My Best Friends Foundation, which supports friends fighting cancer and families who have lost someone to it.

The event will take place at Judson University in Elgin, Illinois. Participants can choose to walk or run in person or virtually. There are two distances: 5K and 8.13K. The 8.13K distance (approximately 5 miles) is a tribute to honor the memory of Rod Wittig, who would have turned 50 on August 13, 2020.

All paid registrations include an event t-shirt. Shirts for in-person participants can be picked up on event day, while shirts for virtual participants will be mailed. For mail delivery, registration must be completed by July 20, 2025.
