Palatine Park District Turkey Trot
The Palatine Park District presents the 45th annual Turkey Trot on November 26, 2026 at the Harper College Health and Recreation Center, 1200 W. Algonquin Rd., Palatine, IL 60067. The event takes place as part of Thanksgiving Day activities and includes options for adults and children.
Distances offered include:
- 2 Miles run/walk
- 5 Miles run/walk
- 100 Yards Sammy Scurry kids dash
Each entry has a specified registration period and fee. The 2 Mile run/walk has a registration fee of $30 and open and close dates listed by the organizer. The 5 Mile run/walk also has a $30 fee with its own registration window. The Sammy Scurry 100 yard kids dash carries a $10 fee and has a separate registration period that closes on the event date.
