Muddy Sneaker 20K Trail Run
The Muddy Sneaker is a trail race held in the Hi Tor Wildlife Management Area near Naples, NY, southeast of Canandaigua Lake. The event covers a 20K course described as a twelve-plus mile trail run with significant elevation loss and gain.
The route traverses natural terrain and may include rocks, roots, snow, ice, log crawls, stream crossings, and encounters with wildlife. The organizer notes that this is not a personal-record course and that runners should expect variable footing and technical sections.
The race was established in 2000. Entry is limited to 200 runners for the year described, and there will be no waitlist. There is an early start option; participants who use the early start are not eligible for awards.
The organizer provides a withdrawal refund policy processed through the UltraSignup platform. Refunds exclude the UltraSignup administration fee. Refund levels are: 100 percent refund if cancelled within 10 days of registration, 50 percent refund for cancellations before April 1, 2026, and no refund for cancellations after April 1, 2026.
