Frost Town Trail Festival
The Frost Town Trail Festival is a trail running event in Naples, NY at the RMSC Cumming Nature Center. It offers two measured courses that use the center's trail network and neighboring state-managed lands in the Bristol Hills region.
Distances include:
- 25K single loop around Cumming Nature Center and Honeoye Inlet Wildlife Management Area
- 10K shorter loop with less elevation and more runnable terrain
The 25K follows a single loop that circumnavigates both the Cumming Nature Center and the Honeoye Inlet Wildlife Management Area. Runners encounter a steep winding ascent and descent on historic logging roads, sections on the well maintained Cumming Nature Center trail system, and more rugged, less traveled terrain along the Rattlesnake Hill ridgeline east of Lake Honeoye. The 10K stays mainly within the Cumming Nature Center trail system and has reduced elevation gain.
On-course support is provided via three aid stations placed at approximately 4 mile intervals. Proceeds from the event support environmental education programming at the RMSC Cumming Nature Center.
